Experimental landscape

This is what I do when I lack an idea or inspiration to draw, is a quick approach to come out with something, this particular one took me around 3 hours:

I start with a quick sketch, I just put brush strokes on the canvas, I use smudge, clone tool, etc. and then I experiment with different photoshop filters (such as distort filters like glass, polar coordinates... also different blurs, sharpen and lens correction) to change the picture and find interesting shapes. Once I got a shape that catch my eye I work the image until it looks like something. 

After adding colors and rendering the image I decided it would look cool adding an outline.
